How we collect, use, and protect your personal information

Last updated: July 7, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Pizza Bib ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you visit our website, contact us, or request a quote. We are committed to handling your data lawfully and transparently in line with the Australian Privacy Principles, the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and other applicable privacy laws.

1. Information We Collect

When you submit our contact or quote form we collect the information you provide, which may include your name, email address, phone number, company name, the type of business you work for, your ZIP or postal code, your store locations, box sizes and quantities, and the contents of your message. We also record whether and when you consented to receive marketing communications.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to respond to your inquiry, prepare and send quotes, provide our products and services, and keep records of our communications with you. Where you have given consent, we also use your contact details to send you marketing emails.

3. Legal Bases for Processing

Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on the following legal bases to process your personal information:

  • Consent: sending you marketing emails, and setting analytics cookies where you are visiting from a region that requires opt-in consent (such as the EU/EEA, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland).
  • Legitimate interests: responding to your inquiries, keeping records of our communications, and understanding how visitors use our website in regions where consent is not required.
  • Performance of a contract: preparing quotes and providing our products and services when you ask us to.
  • Legal obligation: retaining records where the law requires us to.

4. Marketing Communications

We only add you to our marketing mailing list if you have given us explicit consent by checking the marketing opt-in box on our form. You can withdraw consent and unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email, or by contacting us. Withdrawing consent does not affect our ability to respond to your inquiries.

5. Service Providers We Share Data With

We share your information with trusted third-party service providers only as needed to operate our website and communications:

  • Supabase: secure hosting and storage of submissions.
  • Resend: delivery of notification emails to our team.
  • Twilio: optional SMS notifications to our team.
  • Google Sheets: an internal record of inquiries.
  • Mailchimp: management and delivery of marketing emails (only if you opt in).
  • Google Analytics: measurement of how visitors use our website (subject to your cookie consent where required).

We do not sell your personal information.

6. International Data Transfers

Some of our service providers (including Mailchimp, Resend, Twilio, and Google) are based in, or process data in, countries outside your own, including the United States. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses to protect it.

7. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, to comply with our legal obligations, and to resolve disputes. You may ask us to delete your data at any time, subject to those obligations.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request correction or deletion, object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details below.

9. Cookies & Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website and to improve it. If you are visiting from the EU/EEA, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, analytics cookies are only set after you accept them through our cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are used. In other regions, analytics cookies are used by default.

You can change or withdraw your cookie choice at any time using the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer of any page. We also use a small number of strictly necessary cookies that do not require consent: one that remembers your cookie choice, one that records your country so we can show the correct consent options, and login cookies for our site administrators.

Google Analytics does not log or store your IP address. To learn how Google uses data collected on sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
